ART THAT ASKS YOU TO LOOK DEEPER

Layered paintings exploring beauty, faith, resilience, and the sacred within the ordinary.

Where Grace Gathers-Original Oil
$4,000.00

Where Grace Gathers explores the quiet intersection of strength, beauty, and grace. Surrounded by expressive roses and layered marks, the figure meets the viewer with a steady gaze—an invitation to pause, look more deeply, and consider the beauty that gathers around us even in unexpected places.

Created through layers of mixed media and oil, fragments of printed text, expressive brushwork, and subtle marks remain visible beneath the surface, giving the painting a history that reveals itself slowly.

LIVE WITH ART THAT MEANS SOMETHING.

Original art becomes part of the life lived around it.

It catches the morning light. You notice something you hadn’t seen before—a color, a word beneath the paint, an expression that suddenly feels different.

Over time, a painting becomes more than something beautiful on the wall. It becomes part of the story of your home.

Hello, I’m Marcie

I create art that invites you to look a little deeper.

My paintings begin with layers—color, texture, fragments of words, and expressive marks—and slowly reveal something more. Inspired by faith, beauty, and the complexity of our everyday lives, I paint figures, florals, and sacred imagery that invite a moment of stillness, connection, and discovery.

For me, art is not simply something beautiful to live with. It can remind us to notice what matters.

Why I Create

Beauty makes us pause.
In a world that moves quickly, art gives us a reason to slow down, look more closely, and notice what we might otherwise pass by.

Art can reveal something deeper.
My work is rooted in the belief that beauty can create moments of connection, reflection, and encounter—sometimes through sacred imagery, sometimes through something as simple as a face or a flower. Learn More
